[Peeking in world] (431) A visit to the first K-Art Fair Solha Gallery exhibition hall

The first K-Art Fair, which showcases works by Korean contemporary artists, has been held on the 10th to 12th floors of the InterContinental Seoul COEX Hotel since September 1.

The exhibition, in which more than 70 galleries in Korea participated, has a total of 2,000 entries. I visited the site on the afternoon of the 2nd, the second day of the exhibition.

The three floors of the hotel, where the gallery's works were displayed in each room lined up along the corridor, were crowded with visitors, not guests.

Entering Solha Gallery, Room 1253, on the 12th floor, Kim Soon-young, a pine artist, welcomed me.

At Solha Gallery, artist Kim Soon-young is holding a joint exhibition of three people with painters Park Jin-woo and Lee Hae-seong.

At the entrance of the room, Lee Hae-sung's painting of the House of Happiness drew attention first. On the left wall, there is a mountain series by Park Jin-woo, and a Korean pine painting by Kim Soon-young occupies a place on a bed covered with white sheets. And the bathroom was occupied by Lee Hae-seong's painting of the traveler's resting series.

The hotel is no longer an accommodation. Now that the exhibition is held, the three floors of the InterContinental Hotel are huge galleries.

All but one or two pieces of the joint exhibition by the Solha Gallery trio are new works.

The relationship of the trio is also special. The three artists held a joint overseas exhibition at the Hong Kong Art Fair 10 years ago. And 10 years later, they reunited at the first K-Art Fair.

The individuality and genre of the work are completely different three people, so the combination of the three people's differences is exquisitely matched. The first K-Art Fair exhibition runs until the 4th.
